Statement from Select Board Chair Heidi Frail - May 6, 2025
Last night the Select Board voted to delay implementation of the Envision Needham Center Project Pilot for a minimum of six months in response to public feedback.
The Select Board has heard from Needham Center businesses and residents on the project, and the Board agreed that more work was needed to address these concerns. As we consider the shape of the project going forward, the Select Board continues to seek public input.
The Select Board plans to hold a public hearing on the Envision Needham Center Project on Tuesday, May 13th at 6:30 pm in Powers Hall in Needham Town Hall and via Zoom. The Board encourages all stakeholders to provide feedback on the project either in-person, by Zoom, or via email to selectboard@needhamma.gov.
