The Town has contracted with Apex to develop the design for Phase II of the Needham Center Redesign, "Envision Needham Center". To solicit input from residents and stakeholders to help shape the design, the Town will be hosting guided walking tours of Needham Center with Town staff and members of the Apex team. They will gather feedback on various aspects of the downtown including walkability, accessibility, bike access, pedestrian safety, parking, outdoor dining, drivability and more. The Walking Tours are estimated to be one hour long. The Town is also hosting a drop-in Open House for residents to ask questions and get additional information on the project.
Walking Tours:
- Saturday, February 8th from 11 am - 12 pm, from 1- 2 pm and from 3 - 4 pm
- Monday, February 10th from 5-6 pm (rescheduled from Thursday, February 6th due to predicted inclement weather)
No registration is required to participate. Meet at Garrity’s Way in front of Town Hall at the designated times.
Open House:
- Saturday, February 8th from 10 am - 4 pm in the Select Board Chambers at Needham Town Hall
