Needham DPW is celebrating National Public Works Week by giving back to those in need. While Public Works Week is celebrated May 16th to May 22nd, DPW will conduct its Fill-A-Truck Food Drive from May 17th through May 28th. This year, DPW will donate the drive collection to REACH, a local non-profit that supports survivors of domestic violence. DPW will also donate a box of items to the Roslindale Pantry run by the Roslindale Congregational Church. Those interested in donating non-perishable food items can do so in the boxes located at:
- Needham Town Hall – 1471 Highland Ave.
- Public Services Administration Building – 500 Dedham Ave.
- Rosemary Recreation Complex – 178 Rosemary Street
- Needham Free Public Library – 1139 Highland Ave.
- Recycling and Transfer Station – 1471 Central Ave.
