The Town of Needham retained BETA Group, Inc. to correlate the number and location of the Town’s existing street lights with the inventory and billing record provided by Eversource (at the time called NStar Electric). This effort was intended to produce an accurate count of lights to be used by the Town in negotiating its Street Lighting Maintenance Contract, payments to Eversource, and potentially to reduce overall electricity consumed.
